    Dear Members,

We will not reopen this week. While our temperatures have slowed in their decline, they are continuing to decline. South Lane Maintenance is working diligently and we appreciate them very much. Where we stand now, public programming will be canceled through next Monday (10.03.22).

My staff and I are working to reach out to those of you who have a reservation, or a 30-day limited pass.  If you are enrolled in swim lessons you will be credited for any missed appointments. Please feel free to reach out to me with any concerns.

    Dear Members,

We will not reopen tomorrow (9.28.22). Our maintenance team has ordered parts to replace the two motors damaged in the pipe break, but until they can obtain them we are inoperable. The two motors that were damaged are in the pumps that pull water from the boiler and into the pools. So, while the pools are in full circulation, we are once again without heat. We are playing with the air temperature to see if we can impact the water temp and at least keep it from continue to drop. The pools are both 78 degrees right now, if we can hold that temperature over night and throughout the day tomorrow, we will attempt to reopen on a limited basis (lap and exercise) until full repairs can take place.

I apologize for the inconvenience this causes, I know many people in our community depend on the pool as a part of their daily routine. We know that we recognize the frustration and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

    Dear Members,

We will be cancelling Boot Camp and Rec Swim for this evening 9.26.22 as well as all public programming for tomorrow 9.27.22. Progress is being made, but unfortunately we are not at a place to reopen yet. I appreciate your understanding and will continue to update as we learn more.

    9.25.22         12:15pm

    Dear Members,

We are cancelling Monday morning public programming (5:30am - 1:00pm). We need this time to evaluate our options and monitor the drop in water temperature overnight. As of right now, we are not cancelling any programs for Monday evening: High School Water Polo, Swim Club practice, BootCamp, Public Swim Lessons, and Rec. Swim. I will update you all tomorrow morning when we have a better idea of how long it will take replacement parts to arrive and damage from the broken pipe to be resolved.

Swim Lesson registration for Fall Session 2 will go live tomorrow morning at 9:00am and we will have staff in the office to help with any registration needs. Your patience is very much appreciated. I will happily listen to any concerns or frustrations this causes you. You can reply to this email or call in tomorrow to speak with me.
